Hope you're all in good spirits this fine evening. I'd like to share a recent conversation that I had with an ex retired combat veteran, Jason Pike. From osteomyelitis, failing the first grade, and dealing with learning disabilities, Teachers and school counselors told Jason "you're not going to college." Guess what? He proved em wrong. Jason didn't just go to college, he earned 3 degrees. How in the world did he manage to do that? He'll share some of that with us today.
Jason takes us along, giving us a taste of how it was overseas, and in combat. The threat of not only roadside bombs, and live fire, but the emotional turmoil from his father passing and the pending accusations, and investigations from those in his chain of command. All while deployed. Jason walks us through some of his darkest times, and what became of those false allegations. Plus how he was able to find peace, balance, and support for his mental health.
